Q2 2025: CR 84.9%, earnings per share NOK 8.7 – dividend NOK 2.00 per share

Protector Forsikring ASA’s summarised results for Q2 2025 (Q2 2024) are:

• Combined ratio 84.9% (94.5)
• Gross written premium growth 19% (16), 16% (16) in local currencies
• Total investment return including insurance finance NOK 468m (242)
• Profit for the period NOK 716m (254)
• Earnings per share NOK 8.7 (3.1)
• Solvency ratio 220% (191), post dividend


In the first half year, the company recorded a profit of NOK 1 457m (710).
Combined ratio was 85.4% (92.9). The total return on investments including
insurance finance was NOK 1 004m (614).


The Board has, in accordance with the mandate received from the Annual General
Meeting 10 April 2025, decided to distribute a dividend of NOK 165m,
corresponding to NOK 2.00 per share. The payment will take place on 24 July
2025.
